Sweet or Sour lemonade?

What's the point of falling for someone? It always ends up bad. They either break your heart, or tell you they just want to be friends. So why do we put ourselves in that situation? Isn't easier to give up and die alone? For some, this is the way their minds think, for others, they're more optimistic.....it may be cliche to say, "good things come to those who wait," but if we look at it as a cliche then that's when it becomes one. Waiting does not mean wait for a month, or a year; waiting takes time and patience. We must all learn that with life comes lemons, you either can make lemonade or squeezed that shit in the haters eyes, but either way, you're putting the lemons to use, right? The point is, we all go through rough times and we all have problems that we ask, why? But if we don't start forgetting about why the problem occured and start thinking about the solution, then we will be stuck in a paradox forever. My advice is not to keep your chin up, and not to look at the silver lining but to instead to just flip the page and start a new chapter. Every book has a bad chapter and every book can be rewritten, so take a pen and write it out, how you want it to end. Because no matter what your friends say, no matter what they think, you are living your life. We cannot give you any advice that you don't already know. In the end, it is up to you to find a happily ever after....

it's like walking on EGGSHELLS!!!

mmmkkkaaayyyy, here's the dealio, GREAT friendship does not come easy. I dont care what you say. How can we grow if we do not have a arguement once in a while. We cannot expect to learn in life if we do not take chances and risks!!! duh it's like common sense, dumdum. anyways, friends to me is like a second family. They are there for you when your family is not. Without friends who can you run to, who can you lean one, who will be the wind beneath your wings!!! ok too far, but yeah so before you act shady to a person, think to yourself if its worth losing a GOOD friendship over something so stupid. BTW, walking on eggshells would be stupid! so don't say it!

PRCRASTINATION!!!

With age, comes wisdom. We should all learn how to manage our time, right? But with age also comes new experiences, new people, and new connections are made. How can one connect if one cannot find the time to? Yes, we must make plenty of time for school and work, but all work and no play can make you go crazy!!!! After talking to my friends during mid-term season, I could tell that everyone was already stressing, but stress can kill....here's my advice, take a step back to breathe, gather your thoughts and then proceed. If you let it all get to you in the end then you'll fail your test!!! duh. So as mid-terms are ending, people are starting to party, however, finals is right around the corner. Don't forget that you get what you deserve, so I'm not saying not to study your ass off, but just do it moderatly, not all at once! because PROCRASTINATION can kill!

What's in a name

First blog.....I have a lot of relatives that are in relationships with a person of a different ethnicity, mainly Black. A lot of them talked about having kids and of course the issue of the baby's name comes up. Mostly all of them can agree that if they give the child a "ghetto" name then they will be judged by that. But my question if, "What is in a name?" It is just letters arranged together that labels you, but it does not define who you are. Who knows, maybe the next president will be Shaquandelyn Moriri Jackson!!! Who can say that a name makes who you are? WTH, if that were true then they would not let you change your name! DUH dum dum! Look at it now, our next president is Barack Obama! remember, if you look to the past then you're living in the past! Get over it, it's time for a change buddy....Get to it!
